FLAGSHIP SERVICE

Protein Expression & Purification

Project-specific expression and purification support spanning bacterial, insect-cell and mammalian-cell systems. Scope may include construct strategy, expression screening, scale-up planning, purification workflow development, troubleshooting, and adaptation of affinity-based approaches, including the IM7–CL7 system.

Engagements are defined on a case-by-case basis after technical assessment of the protein, construct, expression host, downstream use, and available institutional infrastructure.

Expression Platforms

Bacterial, insect-cell and mammalian-cell expression strategies, including construct and host selection, screening logic and scale-up planning.

Purification Workflows

Affinity, polishing and workflow-development support tailored to protein properties, downstream assays and required purity.

Additional Scientific Services

Capabilities are scoped around the scientific question and the maturity of the requested workflow rather than offered as a fixed commercial catalogue.

Molecular & Synthetic Biology

Vector design, site-directed mutagenesis, Gibson assembly, cloning strategy, gene-editing strategy and related molecular engineering support.

Research Bioreagents

Development/production capabilities may include BirA, nanobodies, research proteases, antibodies, Cas9, Sortase and Annexin V-based apoptosis reagents or assay support. Routine availability is stated only when a reagent or workflow has been specifically validated and is ready for use.

Scientific & Research Consultancy

Experimental design; protein-expression troubleshooting; molecular cloning; cell signaling; kinase structure/function; cancer and trophoblast biology; protein aggregation; computational biology; data interpretation; and collaborative project or grant development.

Laboratory Design, Biosafety & Instrumentation Consulting

Scientific and technical consultancy for new laboratories, upgrades and research-infrastructure planning. Support may cover layout and zoning; personnel, sample and material flow; utility planning; biosafety and containment considerations; SOP/documentation support; instrumentation selection; technically neutral specifications; vendor proposal evaluation; installation and commissioning planning; and future expansion.

Planning & Workflow

  • Functional zoning and workflow mapping
  • Personnel, sample and material movement
  • Utility and infrastructure requirements
  • Installation, commissioning and expansion planning

Biosafety & Instrumentation

  • Biosafety and containment planning inputs
  • SOP and documentation support
  • Instrument selection and neutral technical specifications
  • Vendor proposal and infrastructure evaluation

Scope note: This is scientific and technical consultancy. It does not constitute statutory certification, regulatory approval, accreditation or authorization on behalf of any regulatory body.

Research-Grounded Technical Experience

The consultancy framework is informed by peer-reviewed research and hands-on technical experience spanning STK35L1/PDIK1L biology, SERPINE1/PAI-1 signaling, cofilin and protein aggregation, and LPA/S1P signaling across molecular medicine, cancer, host–pathogen biology and placental biology. See our Research and Journal Articles for the broader scientific context.

Molecular Medicine & Protein/Cell Biology

Research experience spans kinase biology, host–pathogen signaling, protein aggregation, neurodegeneration, cancer biology, placental signaling and related molecular/cellular approaches that inform experimental design and troubleshooting.

Research Infrastructure

Experience includes participation as Co-PI in a large multi-investigator ABSL-3 facility project and in interdisciplinary life-science infrastructure programs, together with instrumentation-focused research support and planning.

Biosafety & Technical Review

Experience includes biosafety- and infrastructure-related planning and technical work on hazardous-waste inventory verification, supporting an evidence-based approach to laboratory planning, documentation and technical evaluation.

How an Engagement Proceeds

01 · Requirement

Define the scientific problem, service requirement, expected output and relevant constraints.

02 · Technical Assessment

Assess feasibility, workflow, infrastructure, biosafety considerations, validation needs and project fit.

03 · Project Plan

Agree the technical scope, milestones, deliverables, responsibilities and realistic timelines.

04 · Institutional Process

Proceed through the appropriate institutional, administrative, financial and approval pathway before execution.

Discuss a Project

For a preliminary discussion, share the scientific objective, material or system involved, expected deliverable and any relevant technical constraints. Suitable projects can then move to technical assessment and the appropriate institutional process.
