The Goyal Lab is part of the Department of Biotechnology, School of Life Sciences, Central University of Rajasthan. We investigate molecular and cellular mechanisms in disease using complementary experimental, biochemical, structural, and computational approaches.
We welcome enquiries from motivated Master’s and MD students, Ph.D. applicants, project staff, postdoctoral researchers, and undergraduate trainees whose interests align with the laboratory’s research programme. Availability depends on current projects, university regulations, funded positions, and supervision capacity.
Masters and MD Students
Master’s students should have a good understanding of cell biology, bioinformatics, and molecular biology. Applicants should demonstrate adaptability to the multidisciplinary nature of the projects and the ability to work in a team. Master’s and MD students are encouraged to contact us to express their interest. Please send your brief updated CV to us.
MD Students interested in multidisciplinary research with their clinical work are welcome to join the group. Opportunities may involve interdisciplinary work addressing clinically relevant research questions.
Ph.D., Project staff and Post Doctoral Fellow
Ph.D., project-staff, and postdoctoral opportunities depend on current university admissions, funded-project vacancies, and external fellowship schemes. Prospective applicants are encouraged to contact the laboratory with a brief CV and research interests and to consult the official Central University of Rajasthan and relevant funding-agency notices for current eligibility requirements and deadlines.
Key criteria
National students
Ph.D. admission: Admission is governed by the current regulations and admission notifications of the Central University of Rajasthan. Applicants should consult the official CURAJ Admissions page for the applicable eligibility criteria, entrance or fellowship provisions, interview process, schedule, and seat availability.
Project staff: JRF, Project Assistant, and related positions are advertised when funded vacancies arise. Please follow official university or laboratory notices and apply according to the requirements stated in the relevant advertisement.
Postdoctoral researchers: Researchers interested in joining the laboratory through an eligible postdoctoral or early-career fellowship scheme are welcome to contact us with an updated CV, a short statement of research interests, and the fellowship scheme they intend to pursue. Support for proposal development can be discussed where the proposed work fits the laboratory’s programme.
